Our Mission:
Our mission is to connect students with meaningful STEM opportunities by providing accessible, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Every student deserves the opportunity to explore STEM beyond a textbook.
Many students develop their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on experiences — asking questions, testing ideas, building solutions, and learning from challenges.
However, access to STEM enrichment opportunities can vary between communities.
Rural Science Access was created to help bridge this gap by bringing classroom-ready STEM activities directly to students through educational kits, experiments, and resources.

Are the STEM kits free?
Our goal is to provide STEM kits at no cost to participating classrooms through donations and community support.
Who is Rural Science Access for?
Arkansas STEM Connect is designed primarily for elementary students, especially grades 3–5, but activities can be adapted for different learning levels.
What schools can participate?
We are initially focusing on rural Arkansas classrooms and communities where additional STEM enrichment opportunities may be limited.
Who creates the activities?
The activities and educational materials are developed by Arkansas STEM Connect with the goal of creating engaging, age-appropriate STEM experiences.

How long do experiments take?
Activities are designed to fit classroom schedules.
